While filming christine director john carpenter reportedly used sixteen different 1958 Plymouth Furys and additional different model plymouths all painted the color red
John carpenter realized the task and difficulty of making christine seem horror, the movie was going be listed as PG rated film, carpenter added f-bombs into the script to prevent that from happening
